Well Lit Waste Paper

One of my favorite design challenges is to show the value of a material or process that is normally overlooked. When you look for it, you can find beauty and utility almost anywhere, the trick is to show it for the valuable thing it is. In this case this is scratch paper. Lit well and seen through the right lens these papers are transformed into modern dancers caught in an instant of movement. These images and their subjects are held in a private collection in Portland, Oregon.
