Heavy Object

The name is a reference to the visual character of the object. This was a practice piece to hone my skills with a CNC router. The object is made of foam and very light, but intended to look heavy. The forms language is one of weight. The colors and shapes are playful and invite the viewer to touch the object and discover the true weight, or lack thereof. We talk about delight in architecture, but delight in design of all kinds is important and I hope I bring delight with this “Heavy” Object.
