Box Lamp

The brief for the Box Light was simple, make a light using a laser cutter and polystyrene. The wonderful thing about a laser cutter is the precise cut. I took advantage of that precision to make this modern puzzle table lamp with Japanese influence. It was designed to be a flat-pack puzzle with purpose. Once assembled and glue it provides general soft lighting for a warm and puzzle friendly atmosphere. The materials are MDF, polystyrene, CA glue, and pre-assembled socket and cord.
