Bottle Lamp

This project brief was to use recycled materials to make a desk lamp. In looking at the products available I found a gap in the offerings. Everything was either serious or whimsical and very little in between. The combination of the light hearted bottle and a functional lighting made for a lamp that was pleasant to have in a room and comfortable to work by. Refinishing and resurfacing the recycled materials gave a pleasant feel when touched and visually took the lamp from used materials to decorator item. Materials: Bottle, brass flexible stem, base, and various small fittings, all recycled. Wiring, socket and micro-LED Edison bulb, and glass beads, new.
